Steve Younis, who runs SupermanHomePage.com from his home country of Australia, was a good friend of Bob Holiday's. Over the years, Steve has published many articles about Bob and "It's a Bird It's a Plane It's Superman", including how Steve and Bob met at the 2003 Superman Celebration in Metropolis, IL, USA.
Steve has also published articles about the many revivals of "It's a Bird It's a Plane It's Superman". This week, SupermanBobHoliday.com is taking a look back at these terrific articles.
Many thanks to Steve Younis for keeping an active archive. Bob Holiday fans are particularly grateful to Steve!
In 2006, an energetic crew of high school students staged a revival of "It's a Bird It's a Plane It's Superman" in San Jose, CA. Webmaster Toni Collins and her husband attended. Bob Holiday kept telling Toni that he was going to slap on his cape and fly out to see the show. Until the curtain rose, Toni was never quite sure whether or not Bob would be trading that cape for a United Airlines ticket! |

In a 2017 limited run production titled Prince of Broadway, tribute was paid to the great
director and producer Hal Prince. Known for such Broadway hits as
Cabaret, Sweeny Todd, and Phantom, Hal was also the director
and producer of
"It's a Bird It's a Plane It's Superman". Bob Holiday fans were thrilled to see that our
favorite show was included as one of Mr. Prince's successes. Click the blue box to read the SupermanHomePage article,
